Welcome to the DVRGNT Ventures Fall ‘24 Fellowship Class!
We are thrilled to announce our first-ever Fellowship class at The Wealth Salons, DVRGNT Ventures, and B.PM brands! Our mission is to create economic opportunities in "The Great 38™️" (fka Middle America) and beyond. We aim to expand knowledge of Venture Capital (VC) and provide opportunities for everyone looking to break into the industry. By offering resources and networks, we empower future leaders with the skills they need to succeed.
A Journey of Opportunities
Launching the Fellowship program has been an exciting journey. From designing the application process to conducting interviews and creating projects, we aim to give our fellows hands-on experience in deal sourcing, due diligence, portfolio management, investor relations, and content development.
The Funnel of Interest
Our outreach attracted 503 visitors to our application page with applications submitted from across the world, including the United Kingdom, Singapore, Germany, India, and the United States.
48% of applicants hailed from the The Great 38™️ in the United States.
42% were from schools represented on the top 100 list, with 19% from top 10 schools such as Duke University, John Hopkins, University of California, Berkeley and others.
This diverse pool of candidates highlights the growing interest in Venture Capital and the opportunity for DVRGNT Ventures to accelerate our impact on "The Great 38™️.”
Meet our Fall ‘24 Fellowship Class!
We are excited to introduce the fellows who will support DVRGNT's mission of providing resources, capital, and networking opportunities to The Great 38™️:
Abhinav is a Finance and Economics student passionate about consulting and M&A. Deeply involved in on-campus organizations at ASU, he is currently working on real estate M&A at SignValue. Outside of work, Abhinav enjoys rock climbing, basketball, and honing his culinary skills.
With his background in investing, Abhinav will assist our partners in due diligence and building investment memos through market research.
Mehek is a Finance enthusiast pursuing her undergraduate degree in Business Administration at the University of Southern California. She loves connecting ideas from different disciplines and people from diverse teams. With a solid background in business and engineering, Mehek is equipped with extensive technical skills.
Her passion for finance, technology, marketing, and entrepreneurship will be invaluable as she conducts due diligence on startups and supports our thesis and content creation through market and industry research.
Kyndall is a University of Oregon student and an Associate of the Venture Partners Fund Fellowship. She is passionate about education and content creation. With experience as an educator working with kids, Kyndall seeks to combine her teaching experience with her creative pursuits to inspire and inform her audience.
Her expertise will be instrumental in helping TWS, DVRGNT Ventures, and B.PM grow our social media presence and expand our reach by creating content and supporting market research.
Sanjana holds a Master's degree from Duke University with a background in engineering. She has diverse experience in venture capital, strategic initiatives, and business development, having worked on fundraising, new product development, and business planning in venture capital-adjacent firms.
Her strategic thinking and market insights have been crucial in supporting entrepreneurs and building strong relationships. Sanjana aims to leverage her experiences to provide access to resources for underserved and underrepresented founders, viewing venture capital as a catalyst for positive change. She will support the development of resources for investors, founders, and key stakeholders and identify market opportunities and groundbreaking startups.
